It's 3:30 P.M. Monday afternoon and it looks like they have placed some mats over the concrete at the exit from the tunnel. Look for them to start hauling tons (literally) of stone soon. Maybe even tomorrow. Five or six guys on the field. Looks like they are making plans.

Took some pictures today. They had two men working on the field. One was in a front loader moving dirt. The other one was grading with a satilite leveling defice on a front blade. You could tell as he got near the side lines the blade would go a little deeper so as to get the 5-6 inch slop they want. I will load these pictures tomorrow. I would say that they will work this week on leveling the field like they want than next week the stone....

I know that the coaches don't start their practices with the players until the first part of August. That is what I am saying. I know that grass does not grow in that fast. It is already mid June which leaves only about six weeks for it to all get done and grass grown in. It just seems that for the first part of practices they will have limited ground--not as much as they normally have unless they are planning on utilizing the outdoor practice fields and hampering the grow in period for the grass or sod.....whatever happens I think that the team will be ready and the coaches will get it done.

Lots of activity this morning. Some of that equipment must have been an awfully tight squeeze through the tunnel.
