Again....when we decided to hand them ANY version of "ULL" it was over. The media, as I stated yesterday 2 hours before game time, ran with this. the media, as far as they are concerned, have been officially told that ULL is legal and acceptable and a hyphen is not going to matter....good luck getting this fixed....

Exactly. UL-L as proper usage has been retweeted by national sports entities. Aaron Martin's statement alone will not change that.
Read the law, Hyphens are illegal for any full blown representation of the school. They gave one single exception included the full blown representation of the name using initials.
Louisiana-Lafayette is illegal as well.
The way it is written "at" is the most important aspect of the law.
D. All uses of the name "University of Louisiana" must be followed by the word "at" and the institution's geographic location. No typographic variations within the name are permitted. The word "at" must be no less than 50% and the geographic location must not exceed 100% nor be less than 80% of the University of Louisiana name. Any institutional use of "University of Louisiana" without the "at" and geographic location is prohibited.
