Indeed. But, that hack is leading this circus right now. We have read her opinion infinitum. We have no opinion to read from our administration. Every leader is faced with shaping words that lead his people yet do not inflict further damage to the cause. She started this thing by saying the administration was using "University of Louisiana" everywhere on everything. I guess her info was 30 years old, 1984.

3. The reference guide was always supposed to be for internal use. The press release was not supposed to be a press release, it was supposed to be an internal memo. There has been no national damage done, and by the time these changes are supposed to be made (summertime), the national media outlets will know how they are supposed to brand us.

In another thread Hammer actually digs deep and YES Karl did want it to the media. He states as much in his media release. If it was for internal purposes it never would have been released to the media, and this was not an inadvertent error, it was in his statement. It is almost like God coming back and telling Eve, I did not really want you to know that eating the apple would kill you that was just some Internal Eternal Thinking, so sorry you misunderstood My command.

In addition, Jer, despite Karl's latest this hyphen is not going to go away. Note that in the latest weasel statement the conference states that this "internal" nomenclature will also be used in press releases. So when the conference releases the hyphen to the press what does a Karl expect the media to use and assume the conference prefers?
