2014 Branding Fiasco: UL-Lafayette or UL-L (SBC Reference Guide)

I would have rather them us LRC for Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns or just RC for Ragin' Cajuns then the dread double L, with or without a hyphen.

In now way am I defending the creators of this mess. But, could it be that what took so long for us to provide an abbreviation to the SunBelt was T-Joe having to try to negotiate with the UL System leadership? Maybe he was told the only acceptable abbreviations were ULL and UL-L, and he was forced to eat a ____ sandwhich, either way. That or risk losing the whole game.. ie the Louisiana branding. Everybody answers to somebody.

Now, none of that excuses the silence, lack of warning, and general incompetence of our marketing efforts.

The Sun Belt Guide can be changed again. Why doesn't Savoie ask the fans/RCAF members or something in regard to the 2-4 letter abbreviation?

Considering that when that skank Tabby first started this crap back in late fall the ULS President basically said she didn't care and had more important matters to deal with, I doubt that is the case.
