This seems like Louisiana politics at its best. Our admin may not have much choice but to back down for a while. Politicians could cause us a lot of problems much worse than being called UL - Lafayette

If that's the case then NAME NAMES!! Let EVERYONE know who's using their political clout to hold back the SECOND largest university in Louisiana from calling itself a NAME. At least go down fighting!! What a joke.

Buckley's UL-L President Savoie announcement was retweed by J. Darin Darst. Why does that matter, because J. Darrin Darst is the College Football Producer for CBS Sports.com. One of the outlets previously using Louisiana.
