Our use, KPEL's, the Advertiser's or local TV station's use won't make a bit of difference in spreading the name nationwide.

Over 50% of all of our contests are Sun Belt contests. Our nationally televised games from the SBC will be using U_L_L. Also, if we make the conference finals of the hoops tourney, we will be U_L_L. Your post will only reinforce the now justified notion that we as a group of locals are just delusionally calling ourselves the improper name.

Hot of the presses in on the Advertiser's website. Sun Belt media guide says call us "UL-Lafayette" and "UL-L". Benson says don't blame him, this was approved by the Presidents.

Advertiser says T-Joe has not responded to requests for comment.

"Requests for comment from UL officials, including Savoie, were made Monday.

Two UL spokesmen said comment could be coming later."

Note not comment WOULD be coming later but COULD. Kind of like a new contract could be coming for Hud.

The only explanation that I would accept from Dr. Savoie and/or Farmer as a proud Alum and fan is that Benson is a liar. If the explanation is anything other than that, then they can all go to ______!

Mike, do you understand that we are now officially ULL????When we are televised we will be referred to as ULL during broadcast because we have made it official....and ESPN will refer to us on air as ULL because it is easier.....candy asses....every one of them.....I am literally sick over this among other things
