This program will never turn the corner with these spineless back stabbers at the helm.

After all of the fighting that we have done to spread the Louisiana brand we have to be told by the sunbelt commish that our leaders are waiving the white flag. What a disgrace.

Savoie/Farmer now pick up the phone and call CUSA and accept the bid that was made to us a while back without feeling bad about their loyal commitment that they made a while back to the Sun Belt? Wishful thinking?
Definitely. You give these spineless clowns too much credit.

Ain't it. They could at least have the balls to be upfront on the issue before Benson has to tells us.

    T-Joe can suck my hyphen.

This truly may stop people from going to games. Some people - more than a few - are more interested about wanting to achieve the Louisiana name than they are about the results of any game or going to any. They will do this to send a message to the administration. I know that may not be fair to the student athletes who represent the university but that is truly the way it is. No matter what the administration says fans will let businesses know that UL-L is not acceptable. In fact that sentiment will be stronger than ever and woe to any business that does not recognize that to be the case. In fact, apparel with any hyphen or Lafayette designation will be harder than ever to sell. CajunWarhawk probably does not understand how passionate Cajun people are when they set their mind to something. We decide what to call ourselves, not the Sun Belt office or the administration who made a decision based upon political pressure.

We had support ____-head. FOX, CBS and others were using UL and Louisiana, much to the chagrin of all 5 of your fans. Our President doesnt have a nut on his body and thats sad.

Exactly, we will call ourselves UL/Louisiana. TV Networks, and everyone else will call us UL-L.
