I just don't understand it. We changed our logo to drop the 's, we have LOUISIANA on all our jerseys, in our Media Guide we advise Media to call us LOUISIANA RAGIN' CAJUNS.

Screw the Sunbelt. I guarantee you we win this thing in another conference because we would not have to give in to ULM.

Then I say we keep on with the fight. Besides, it really changes nothing as far as the spoken word, and who knows, it may get rid of sportscasters using the "Lafayette" handle. So, we keep fighting...you make sure the guys at CBS understand they really aren't obligated to change anything. Its a situation that can change given the right circumstances like oh...I don't know, 10 or 15 burning couches on the lawn at Martin Hall with say several thousand students screaming UL all night long.... send lawyers, guns, and money...its going to be a long and dirty battle!
I'd be negligent if I didn't mention my boys at the Communication and Marketing office. Don't for one minute think that this group didn't have anything to do with this. And we will be called "Lafayette" and get the Leopard logo.

First off, kill that freaking idea of University of Acadiana. Given the politics of our state, you know damn good and well Monore will stay ULM, and the M will get dropped. Second, we have to stay vocally and gear wear true to University of Louisiana. Third, it's a guideline, not a mandate.

And last I'm done getting all rah-rah over the Cajuns until we get out this &);6/!!!! conference. Takes me back to the days where DICK Oliver mailed then USL the basketball championship trophy.
