After a week of travel, long work days and hasty eating on-the-go just to sustain my enery, I could not wait to get home and pour myself a tall glass of greens to replenish my body with a bevy of vitamins. The concoction I threw together is comprised mostly of veggies and spruced up with sweet, juicy pears so delicious I ended up eating half of one while cutting it up for the smoothie. I'm still thinking about that dang pear and wish my refrigerator was stocked with a dozen of them right now.
