Well you may have but I don't recall it. I do recall you said the Saints would be lucky to be 8 and 8 after the first game. This was at a time when all the national guys were predicted they would finish up about where they did. Still, interesting for anyone to call me "son" at my age. It would make sense that you have said positive things about the Saints and I can't remember as I do forget things occasionally now. I was telling someone the other day that I will soon see my 450th Cajun Basketball game. You don't do that without having a few years on you.
I took my medicine on that prediction...as I do on all my failed predictions. I give credit where it is due...I'm just not impressed at all with the Saints defense...especially knowing what the Seahawks did to them when they were much healthier earlier in the year. If my son comment offended...I apologize.
One thing was clear. The best team won. Something I found curious but maybe it fits into the that's the game today. The Hawk defenders and too a lesser extent, the Saints defenders were draped all over the receivers. Going over the top of a receiver is legal today even if you are looking for the football?
Saints defense is much improved but they have struggled against the run all year. Still, they made the most improvement from one year to the next as any team in NFL history. They deserve some credit for turning it around. Don't worry about the "son" comment as you have never met me personally and probably don't know I just celebrated my 58th birthday. Still, I consider myself lucky that I could still take most of the people on this board to school on the basketball court. That is not due to skill but simply due to the good health I been blessed with
I think you are confusing the Saints and Packers.
Anywho, http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/1/1/...board-set.html
Bush's hit on Harvin wouldn't have even drawn a flag in the past. He wasn't "head hunting". He led with his shoulder and it looked bad because he knocked the ____ out of Percy. Other than that one play, there wasn't any other defensive hit in question. If anything wasn't stand up in that game was the amount of holding the Seattle OL did all game long. But, it was established early that refs weren't going to call anything but blatant penalties.
Here I am complimenting the Seahawks D (especially the secondary), but you refuse to acknowledge the play of the Saints D. They were outstanding. You're damn fortunate Lynch is the beast he is. He won that game for you.
