What reverse style process are you looking at that tells you what to look for in a college QB? You evaluate the exact skills in high school and college QBs that you as a college coach recruiter need to weave into your program. How does Drew Brees and/or Russell Wilson have anything to do with assessing anyone? They are simply a couple of the best in the pros. Both are undersized and have to compensate for it. Russell is far more mobile. They aren't reflections of each other in any regard. What does that have to do with evaluating who should start for UL or who we'd recruit?

Other than having to get back on the field too often, that was a tremendous game by the Saints defense. Tremendous.

I couldn't blame Seattle for keeping it on the ground. And it did lock up several of their drives... because the a Saints D came to play. The Saints defense removed more offensive options than Seattle's OC failed to call. Seattle's big late play miracle was a scrambling Wilson lofting a luck ball that ended in a well covered athletic catch. The Saints were knocking the crap out of the Seattle offense... and if not for Lynch's superman abilities, even that bad Saints offensive showing would have won that game.
First off...Wilson wasn't gonna be doing much throwing down field with the swirling winds. The few times he did were those crazy rainbow passes. Brees did the same thing. His short passes were being dropped left and right...with nothing to do from any pass rush or good coverage. The only thing the Saints D did well was head hunt Percy Harvin. Heck of a gameplan. Times haven't changed. Hope Raphael Bush got his bounty money...and I hope that punk _____ chokes on it.

The ball was kept on the ground by Bevell and Wilson. Wilson obviously didn't feel comfortable with the wind and rain putting the ball up. He did that because it's a huge risk in those conditions. How many interceptions did the Seahawks drop? How many did the Saints drop? My point exactly. And let's not talk about the luck ball that Meachem was gifted huh. That was the longest play of the game...and it was a prayer ball that should have been an easy pick. The Seahawks have carved up the Saints defense before...they didn't yesterday because their gameplan was ultra conservative due to the conditions. I am not impressed by the Saints defense. And I'm watching my team next week...so...nah nah boo boo.

Robinson was getting 5 yards a carry. And so was Ingram. Although, Ingram cost us big time with the dropped first down to start the game and the fumble.
The only thing they did well was knock Percy Harvin out of the game. Old habits die hard I guess.

The Saints were doing a great job of wasting timeouts so that gave the Seahawks some flexibility.

    Which one was it, Hawk?

Was it the playcalling of a schizophrenic offensive Coordinator, or was it an ultraconservative game plan due to the conditions?

Yes Wilson is far more mobile but I added Brees in because of his play when he did start moving around---the comparison and future QB picks have to do with just that and ergo my reference to NIXON and the play he made against Tulane---other players would have been sacked----Think about it this way----2 QBs go back to pass and one because of his inability to scrambled gets sacked----the other not only doesn't get sacked but moves around and gets another chance to complete a pass or crosses the LOS for great yardage----All I am saying is that I would take the latter to better my chances---makes sense right??? Add the zone read into the equation and the problems it causes defenses and the case becomes more compelling----and again I guess I would compare it the the Alabama and LSU QBs that can't scramble---I'll take the Wilson and Brees types!!! OK this is an edit job---please add the Carolina and SF QBs to my mobile QB list!!!

You mean Percy Harvin's habit of being soft and getting hurt?

Hawk, have you ever said anything complimentary about the Saints in your life. Their defense did force several punts in the third quarter when the Seahawks were on their end of the field. They also gained over 400 yards and had a rushing TD. Very few teams do that on the Seahawks. Team that made the less mistakes did win but the Saints did fight hard all day and made some plays which they deserve credit for.

LoL you are going to complain about the Saints "head hunting" yet have nothing to say about the obvious PED use by your beloved Seahawks? What about the obvious strategy of holding every defensive play knowing the refs will only call it a few times a game? Yet I can't give the hawks all the credit for that cheat... They stole the concept from the 9ers after getting whooped by them time and time again. As much as I hate to say this because I hate the 9ers, I'll be pulling for them. Actually, I'll be pulling for the terrorists. How is that for head hunting? http://m.espn.go.com/general/blogs/b...saints&id=4352
