And if you're running the ball well, what better place to go play action than the first down ?
Either it was good defense or bad execution.
Hawk, I actually like Seattle. Enjoy watching Lynch and Sherman is the best CB in the league.
It's Pete Carroll. USC ? PEDs?

Cheating seems to follow the guy.
I can't imagine how anyone could question the saints defense yesterday. Without our 2 best players in coverage, they were outstanding. Aside from that turnover deep in our zone, they gave up 16 points in a playoff game!
Robinson was getting 5 yards a carry. And so was Ingram. Although, Ingram cost us big time with the dropped first down to start the game and the fumble.
Every attempt at a pass play ended up with the Saints in excellent coverage, and Wilson scrambling just to have to throw it away. Are you kidding me? That had everything to do with coverage and pressure and taking the passing game away from Seattle. Bush popped Harvin and Tate early, and that played a factor as well. Other than having to get back on the field too often, that was a tremendous game by the Saints defense. Tremendous.
I couldn't blame Seattle for keeping it on the ground. And it did lock up several of their drives... because the a Saints D came to play. The Saints defense removed more offensive options than Seattle's OC failed to call. Seattle's big late play miracle was a scrambling Wilson lofting a luck ball that ended in a well covered athletic catch. The Saints were knocking the crap out of the Seattle offense... and if not for Lynch's superman abilities, even that bad Saints offensive showing would have won that game.
TREMENDOUS defensive play by the Saints yesterday. Problem was an inept offense.
---I would hope that watching the game's 2 QBs that everyone could see the future/present QBS of the college game ----- I still think that maybe Gautier was a better QB than B-Way and that we still might be looking for our future guy in that spot----Look at Johnny football, K Brown , Wilson of the Hawks and Brees when he moves around---Look at Nixon and his great play to beat Tulane!!! The heir apparent unless a transfer, JUCO, or super star comes along!!!
I think that had more to do with Seattle's amazing defense. They were running around like kamikaze pilots on meth (BTW did you know the Japs invented meth and gave it to the Kamikaze pilots and soldiers?). We did miss Pierre Thomas. I think pound for pound he is still our best back. It seemed like the game plan was to run the ball but Ingram wasn't up to the task. It looked like Payton was trying to use Sproles as a north and south runner. Sproles is way too small to pound the ball. Anyways, my football season is over. I will be pulling for the Seahawks to win it all. After the season maybe we can pickup some their players!
