The early hits you are talking about where he was up in the count, I guess you are talking about the first single up the middle where it was 2-2 count because his second hit he was down 2-0, the third where the guy hit a bomb, it was first pitch, his fourth 1-0 (double), fifth was an infield single and it was also first pitch, his sixth which was a double he was down 2-0... So when you get behind hitters like he did, that is your end result... _
I didn't say he should throw the curve on every pitch. What I said was he has a good enough curve to throw at any time in the count. In any event, this thread is supposed to be about why we aren't using Dillon Guillory. I think Cook is one of the few bright spots this season.

Gee, maybe you should wait for the answer before ripping the players.

Yes, Guillory is hurt. He has a strained oblique muscle and was unavailable this weekend. Griffen had a virus and was also unavailable.

Thanks for answering my question as I was not aware that Guillory was hurt. The injury bug sure has taken its toll on us this year.

    Thanks for the update.

By the way, my question was posted yesterday and I did not get the answer until just now. In the meantime, I had to defend myself against all who were offended that I dared to question the all powerful and all knowing Tony Robichaux.

Look, I love Coach Robe, but the fact is, this program has underacheived since the 2000 CWS. Whether that it is all Robe's fault or not, I don't know. What I do know is that I know a lot about the game and as a fan and an alum, I have the right to question the coaching staff.

You had to defend yourself because you ask a question and in the same question rip one of the players who is probably the best leader on the team. Dont try and justify the thread now. An open ended question about Dillon's status would have been sufficient.

Maybe you are right, but I did not use Lafleur's name when I made the original post, although I did say the cather that played today.

I don't mean to offend the players or question their leadership or anything of the sort, but the fact is Lafleur has not hit this entire season. I realize that our pitching woes this weekend way overshadowed whatever hitting deficiencies we had.

By the way, who calls the pitches? Whoever it is needs to stop calling for a fastball down the heart of the plate with 2 strikes. That seems to be the favorite pitch. How about a curve or change. _
I'm sorry i wasn't aware of your years of experience behind the plate and your endless knowledge of the game. My guess is your some Fat man regretting his years in the band. Wishing you put down the tuba for a glove. Save it for your life partner buddy cause us who know the game, know who should be on the field and who should be eatin twinkies on our laptops like you.

Since you decided to make this personal.....I was an all district and all parish baseball player and I played college tennis on scholarship and received offers to play JUCO ball. I am by no means an expert, but I do know baseball. Not only are you and idiot, but you are a homophope.

I tell you what, you send me a PM and I'll give you my address and we'll have a man to man and I'll show you exactly what kind of shape I'm in, you worthless turd.
