I'm not interested in him as our coach at all. We have mutual friends with us being from the same area. Many personal issues as well.

Nothing is official until the official announcement is made, but I will take the word from season ticket holders at Western Kentucky over internet bloggers that are suggesting Orgeron to UL and Hudspeth to Vanderbilt.
USAToday backs up your info reporting that WKU has already interviewed Jeff Brohm to take over should Petrino bolt.

Like I said, I'm going on the word of season ticket holders. Is it money, probably not but why would anyone in the program tell them a presser will be scheduled for Thursday? Cardinals Rivals is also reporting tonight that AD Tom Jurich is down to 3 names, top one is Patrino. http://louisville.rivals.com/

For those that didn't know, Petrino's daughter is on the women's golf team at Louisville. So lets remove Hud name from this list and focus on recruiting...rumors are not good at this time of year.
Thank you! It was pretty ridiculous.

I like him, he is a good guy but that doesn't make him a good head coach. I have no knowledge of his personal problems.

One thing that is another feather in Hud's hat is the caliber of coach that he has gone against----Freeze (OM)----Mazlhan (AU)---Harsin (BOISE)----the WKU coach to USF---Bobby Patrino----The guy who was at FAU (retired)----the FIU coach that was so hot---probably more but still he has gone against some very good opponents!!!

Fifth ring. We already have 3 bowl rings and 1 conference championship ring. Hopefully next year we can get to 6 rings. for the seniors.

Hypothetically, if Coach Hud were to leave as our coach. Any idea on who fans would love to see as a replacement? Again, hypothetically!

I think Jay Johnson would be a logical fit. Outside of him, I have no idea or inklings on where we could or should go.
