Stewart to Central Arkansas

A blurb in the Advertiser states that former UL DC Greg Stewart has accepted the position as DC at Central Arkansas. Former Delta State coach Steve Campbell (that's how he was listed in the article not MGCCC coach) has taken the HC position at Central Arkansas. He and Stewart were teammates and coached together at Delta State.

Couldn't post a link because it was in the print edition but did not see it online.

Coach Fouquier told me this last week. I'm very happy for Greg! He is a good guy with a passion to coach the game. Wish he could have stayed here, but it wasn't in the cards. Good luck to him at UCA!

I think he took the HC position at one of the Texas SLC programs.

Yes SFA. You rarely see a head coach change teams in the same conference (smaller schools especially) I am sure money had a little to do with it. Also Texas kids!

Might have felt the time for a change of scenery. I think he had been at UCA for around 14 years.
