Default Ragin' Cajuns Women's Basketball win streak

Currently on a 4 game winning streak. Sitting at 8-4, 1-0.

Brodhead has got this team playing some decent ball.

    Congrats so far ladies!

They are just getting started. Broadhead was a good hire.

Love his system; jury is still out on his ability to recruit athletes.

I have seen enough games to know that he does not have the athletes he needs to win big in this conference. Of course, that is less true now with MTSU gone.

He is a much better coach than Rogers, but except for his first round win in the SBC tourney last year, he still has not beaten a team with a pulse.

I have said it before and I stand by it. Brodhead is a huge step up from Rogers. I love his x & o ability. I still have not seen athletes that he has recruited who can win consistantly against upper half SBC competition.

We are no doubt much better than two years ago, but until we can regularly win home games against the better teams in our conference, we still have a long way to go.

It may take an overall winning record to effectively turn the corner on recruiting. ?

Yep. Just as what Marlin faced, it takes wins to attract quality players. But many of those wins can't happen until better players get here. Let's see if he can beat the old "catch 22" issue.

What Kelley Hall did [and to his credit, Brodhead is doing it as well] is schedule a bunch of patsies in non-conference to pad his record and give his girls confidence. Once he got a couple of studly players, he upped the schedule a bit, resulting in the only at large bid to the NCAA [men or women] in the history of the school.

The missing part right now is the appearance of the couple of studly players.

Uhhh, yes. Have been to every home game since Brodhead hired and roughly 1/4 of road games. Don't recall seeing vo at any.... Especially at EKL where one sees EVERYONE.
