You may already know this, but there's a kid's day promotion for Saturday. I think the first (insert number here, I think 400) or so kids in the gate get a free basketball.

We were told today to look for an announcement moving the game to 1pm.

What time were you informed of that? I ask because I know the basketball fan that made that suggestion to Farmer. It would be sad to think that a fan had to put that bug in the AD's bonnett to make that happen.

To be fair to the administration, they may have been aware of the Saints baseketball conflict before it was mentioned to the AD by a fan. Regardless, if they are able to change the game time, it will be the right move no matter who gets credit.

I actually went the other direction. I asked the NFL to move the Saints game. I told them that it conflicted with the Cajuns basketball game. I've not gotten a response yet.

It was already in the works. But they couldn't announce it until UTA signed off on it. Both teams had to agree to move the game.

No, but Seattle was going to put the Cajuns game up on the big screen during the playoff game. All they wanted was for CajunHawk to fix some parking tickets for them and to stop sexting Russell Wilson. He refused... so they refused.
