If you think the men's game will be lightly attended imagine how bad the women's game will be
Saints-Seahawks are scheduled to kick off at 3:30 next Saturday while the Cajun-UTA basketball game is slated to start at 2 PM. That means the end of the basketball game will conflict with kickoff to the playoff game. Disappointment of yesterday's loss may have a negative impact on attendance and this conflict will likely make it worse. Hopefully we can move the start time to at least 1 PM in order to avoid this conflict. I don't know why we are playing at 2 anyway. Maybe it has something to do with TV.
I had not seen this thread started when I began one of a similar vein. There is a Rebounders Club meeting Tuesday night. I am sure someone will ask if the start time can be changed at that function. If there is a media luncheon on Monday, it may get asked at that time. LSU moved their game from last night to yesterday afternoon in order to avoid competing with the Saints-Eagles contest. TV may have something to do with Saturday's start time which would make it difficult to change.
I wondered why the ULM games were afternoon tip-offs until realizing the Saints were on later.
I expect the second half of basketball could have people leaving early ... but the Saints game will go of for awhile ... and there are people that leave basketball games early any way ... no matter what the score ... no matter what the opponent ... no matter what the implications ... gotta beat that "traffic".
Let's see if I get a reply.

Any chance the UL bkb game on Sat gets moved 2 earlier time 4 #Saints fans? Noon would be nice.

Administration is looking into moving Saturday's game to 1 PM. Doing so at this late date may be difficult.
I really hope they move it to say least 1. I was planning on taking my niece for only her second game, and she is so excited. I want to watch the whole game and not have to leave early
We were told today to look for an announcement moving the game to 1pm.
Looks like it's going to happen.
