Absolutely. At this point, I'd honestly settle for a good game in Seattle. We're due to not play a terrible game there after the last 3 or 4 have been totally forgettable. But if they beat us, I'd absolutely be pulling for Seattle. I wouldn't be able to stand watching Cam Newton do his special plane dance in the Super Bowl.
This. It was the first thing I said as soon as the field goal went through. "Too bad we can't play a soft defense like that next week." Our ability to run was crucial in this game, and those yards will be much tougher to come by next week. We're going to need Brees to be as sharp as he's ever been, and our defense is going to have to take away big plays and blown coverages. If those things happen, it'll be a good game.
Being a die hard Redskins fan.. Im looking at this in the utmost unbiased way... The Saints will be destroyed. A bad defense just got worst with more injuries
We really need Pierre Thomas back. He is a hard physical runner. Sproles is great but way too small to be use like Payton was trying to use him tonight. I've always had a soft spot for the Seahawks. I remember when they came into the league. I even had Archie Manning and Jim Zorn action figures (Not dolls! Action Figures). Of course I destroyed them. I wonder what they would be worth today in mint condition?
I've learned to keep my Saints thoughts off this board… and on the Saints board. Love all my Cajun fans, but man some of you are clueless when it comes to the Saints.
Drew Brees vs. a second year quarterback in his first he start at home in the playoffs. Ought to be interesting.
So how many false start penalties will the Saints get?
