Holly Tankersley remembers what happened the last time UL's softball team played Florida International. Last year, the Golden Panthers came to Lafayette and became the first Sun Belt team to sweep the Ragin' Cajuns at home.

But when the teams play each other this weekend in a three-game series, Tankersley said the nation's 19th-ranked team has more than revenge on its mind.

"It's not really a revenge thing," Tankersley said as UL plays FIU in a doubleheader at 2 p.m. (CST) today in Miami. "We just want to go play ball. We're going to go out there and do what we know we can do."
