Charlie Strong to Texas

The Austin American Statesman newspaper is reporting that negotiations are ongoing between Charlie Strong and the University of Texas. If Strong turns down Texas then the paper is reporting that James Franklin, Head Coach of Vanderbilt is the back up option

During the Vandy -Houston Compass Bowl the talking heads discussed the situation. According to them Strong met with his staff but is waiting to meet with President or AD (can't recall which one) who is out of town on vacation.

Noooo! not yet HUD! Please, I'm more scared of Farmer picking our replacement than actually losing HUD. I know he has to go eventually. His replacement, IMO, will be more important to this program than HUD himself. Although that can and will be debated by others.
