2014 Football Recruits

I hope we get some sleepers again like the profit, and have the BEST UL class ever!!! Ready for the Recruiting Bash, but we(UL) needs to take the bash up a level, make it longer and maybe involve more of a fund raising effort, like a big raffle(golf cart) or something, silent auction, etc. More food and drinks. Maybe booths set up for meeting all our Great Universities coaches and at least some of their players!!!!

Biggest recruiting need this year is for at least a 3-4 star dual threat qb to eventually replace Broadway.

I believe he has been the single most important "difference maker" by at least 2 games the last two seasons, after transferring from UofH.

With an average qb the ceiling is usually average for the team. Broadway raised our potential.

The first annual R-Pagin party---I know we could have some Bar sponsor it---We all put up a dollar or 5 at the door and have guest coaches or SIDs or ADs----Get some name tags and we could have a blast---probably solve as many problems as RCAF does!!!

Man, I'd love to do this. I'd be happy just to meet some of the RP petsonalties, like " The Boom "! I'm in!!

I think in two years he will be ready. Obviously, he is better running the ball, but with work his passing game should get better. He definitely looked better at game speed than the other Haack and Landor.

LSU losing recruits really hurt us in that aspect!

Pellerin is a big target for us, Signing of Harris and with Jennings already there maybe tigers don't go so hard after Pellerin

Would Hudspeth getting his son to come here hurt our chances with Pellerin?

Jalen Nixon is the perfect backup to Broadway. But when it comes down to an offseason QB battle between Haack and Nixon, I think Haack will win. Personally, I see Nixon eventually playing a Brad McGuire roll after Broadway leaves.

Is Gunner Hudspeth a good QB? Go for Pellerin hard.

No idea. That's kinda why I was asking. But if I were a Pellerin I wouldn't like the idea of having to compete with the coach's son. That's assuming Gunner Hudspeth is any good.

If Pellerin is worried about Gunner than we don't want him anyway. Pellerin will be one of the top QB's in Louisiana
