Good luck in conference to our women basketball team. I know they will compete much better under coach Brodhead in his second year. This team is vastly superior to the team that closed their campaign just two seasons ago.
"Series: ULM leads 41-6"
How could UL administrations (in the past) ever have allowed this to happen?
17 years of going undefeated home-n-home won't balance the sheet.
I am confident Brodhead will make strides in this area, but man 41-6.
Turbine, much like the TooLame one sided lead, we do not count the games that clearly nobody cared to be competitive in. We changed when Kelly got here, but took a step back with his replacements.
Cajuns will not lose to these Lady Hoaxes anytime soon.
But the guys might---I thought that last year we were just out coached ---there guy was just so into the game !!! Anyway they scare the hell out of me!!!
We have Marlin Boomer. Get used to big moment failures by him. He will lure you in only to lay a big egg.
When you send your best player to the line to win it in overtime, it's not on the coach.
When you send your best player to the line in OVERTIME.,OVERTIME, THIS is F*@king ULM.! It is on the coach.
Marlin cannot have it both ways, at least he should not be able to. You are either the COACH who orchestrates wins or you are not. You cannot be a great coach when your players are great, and it's on the players when they lose, unless you name is Nick Saban.
This was not their super bowl of basketball. Their Super Bowl of basketball was a few days back against LTU @ RusTon. The Hoax were blown up like the Kansas City was in Super Bowl I by Green Bay.
Seriously Turb do you think the Hoax have players close to ours? It is the coaches job to have his team MENTALLY and physically ready to win. Too often Marlin teams are not there mentally.
OK, I understand what you are saying. You clearly are not understanding what I am saying. WE should never have been in that position. That is on the coach to be in a life and death position against such a horrible opponent. Over and over again I am lured into believing it was not Marlin, but his players, his muteness assistant coach, only for him to LAY a BIG egg. Somehow it always is not Marlins fault, but always he gets the love on the wins.
We will simply always be of different sides of this fence unless he can do a lot of fence mending. Marlin is a journeyman coach.
