At this point in the year, all UL senior Josh Logan can do is shake his head. The Cajuns jumped out to an early lead on Sunday against Florida International but struggled to generate any offense in the final six innings.

Every hard-hit ball was right at a Golden Panther in the field. The lack of offense down the stretch resulted in an 8-4 loss as the Cajuns lost their third Sun Belt series of the season - and second at home.

"That's kind of been our season," Logan said. "We hit balls hard and have nothing to show for it.

"Eventually, one day, they're going to start falling."
