They're aren't too many better jobs right now since they've moved to the SEC. They have stupid money and resources available. Sumlin is making $5 million per year and is only behind Saban in salary. After their $450 million dollar stadium renovation, there won't be a better college stadium in the country.

TAMU is NOT a big job historically it is a near big job, thus high average. There are lots of bigger names that will be needing coaches soon enough. I rate jobs on how a team has historically done on the field, and TAMU is way underperformed.
After an initial great SEC season TAMU way underperformed again this season. Minus Johnny Football it will not be pretty in 2014.

Tamu had no defense and lost Ryan Swopes their biggest play maker along with a first round OT. Johnny Football is the reason they won as many as they did.

Just saying to me TAMU is not better than Ole Miss, Arkansas, Missouri, Nebraska, OK St, Penn State, Miami, Ga Tech, N Carolina, Tex Tech, W Virgina, Tennessee, Clemson, S Carolina, Virgina Tech, and so many more who have a hard time remembering their last conference title. My point is TAMU is nothing special, not an elite job, so if Sumlin is all THAT he will get better offers, my original point.

TAMU is in the SEC now if someone wins there, they will not be able to make more money anywhere else in the country.
