Let the Mullen rumors begin...
Let the Mullen rumors begin...
Why? What special ties does he have to Penn State?
Penn State is in ten times better position than it was in when O'Brien took over, they will have dozens of very qualified candidates to take over.
oh oh oh oh oh ---Domino--Domino---Domino!!!! Wonder if he got the news and crushed some Rice in the Bowl---Trying to get to a Happy place---Hey its New Years EVE!!!
Franklin from Vandy will have a better shot....
Mullen will not be the next coach at Penn St. Just sayin
Two years ago Mullen would have been in the top two under consideration.
But after two mediocre years at Miss State.....No.
Prior to becoming bowl eligible, the talk was getting heavy on their message board about firing him and seeking Hud. It is still a rumble but not like it was a month ago.
Bottom line: Mullen might WANT to go to Penn State, but I dont think they have the same level of interest as they did two years ago.....
I hear the HUD to Ms St talk but if job came open, what the likelihood of him going? No one has ever had real success there. Does that not play into account?
i would think that if louisiville coach goes to texas , we would have more to worry about..
I think art briles to Texas is all but a done deal
So if any school is going after HUD they in all probability they give a call to Ole Miss and Auburn and ask these 2 guys that coached against him and won what do they think about Hud as a HC!!!
i doubt briles to texas... seems like they want younger
Maybe young Skip Holtz, or Curtis Johnson from TooLame would be good replacements at Vandy or Louisville if the chips fall that way for those two schools.
Seriously according to the TooLamers CJ is the best thing since corned beef on rye.
Winthorpe loves him some CuJo, eh? Well, if you notice their sideline looked pretty disorganized in the bowl game. They never led, tried a desperation FG to send it to overtime, and trash talked the entire game. They looked like a bad team that was lucky to be there, but behaved like they were ungrateful for the opportunity.
