They rely on instate recruiting and he knows the landscape as well as anyone and is a Meyer understudy with a winning resume..

Two years ago Mullen would have been in the top two under consideration.
But after two mediocre years at Miss State.....No.
Prior to becoming bowl eligible, the talk was getting heavy on their message board about firing him and seeking Hud. It is still a rumble but not like it was a month ago.
Bottom line: Mullen might WANT to go to Penn State, but I dont think they have the same level of interest as they did two years ago.....
