But and however, unless the law has been tweaked, altered or subverted, it never said city. It said "geographic location" and it could be strongly argued that Acadiana is a geo centric location.

Then by all means as a last resort go for Acadiana. We have to realize if we do that, then we will forever be ULA or ACADIANA for short, and complaining about not being able to be called Louisiana will be seen as sour grapes.
