UL's baseball team experienced another night of frustrations in Wednesday's 17-6 loss to nationally ranked Rice in Houston.

Relief might come this weekend for the preseason Sun Belt favorite Ragin' Cajuns in the form of Arkansas-Little Rock as the programs play a three-game conference series at Gary Hogan Field in Little Rock, Ark. Game 1 is at 6 tonight, with games at 3 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday.

Both teams have struggled this season. UL (6-12 overall, 1-5 SBC) has lost 12 of its last 15 games and has opened conference play losing its first two series for the first time in program history.

The Cajuns, off to their slowest start since 2003, are 2-6 on the road this season.
