Golden's stock is spinning around the toilet right now. Down 22-2 at half...

Here's where it came from: http://sharetv.com/shows/suspense

It was on TV for five years (1949-54) as well as radio (1942-62). I used it because of my fears from following the program since 1972. The fans have been through a lot and, although the administration has undeniably been through some tremendous hardships, they have historically left us in the dark and uncertain about their commitment to our athletics future. We really need to get out of the Sun Belt, take advantage of every success we achieve, and establish our brand name. And that idea is another Louisiana First Down!

I would be surprised if Hud got another job now. If I were Mississippi State or other program, I'd look at the team's performance vs. Arkansas and Kansas State in Year 3, and the difficulties the team had when the first string QB went down. He still has something to prove, maybe not to UL fans but to the greater football world. Not to be negative, but there's still unfinished business before I'd go after him. If the team makes improvements in attendance, games vs. BCS opponents, we can shine in a bowl outside the friendly confines of New Orleans both in the stands and on the field, the stadium is expanded, all the players were recruited by his staff, and another conference invites us, then I'd be all over him.

I also have concerns about the infrastructure and leadership. I'm not sold on our AD as the guy who is capable of leading us to the promised land, and our President to make the necessary changes if/when this becomes apparent. I'm still wondering what kind of leadership motivates a Top 10 ranked softball coach to quit the day before the season starts. Obviously there is a malfunction for that to happen.

Boom, If you mean that he cannot win a National Championship at Miss. ST. then you are probably right.
...........All I was thinking is SECDiv champ or even staying in the top five!!!

I don't mind sharing that information when I am able, but, as you can understand, some things I am required to leave private.

You, as I understand it, are a business owner. Do you send out a press release for every phone call you make and every email you receive? The intimate details of every facet of the master plan funding, the construction contracts, the conference movement negotiations and everything else on which the administration is working are known to the "deep pocket" people, and they are informed in a timely (by my estimation) manner. I'm sorry that many people here do not like the way T-Joe and Scott handle their business. I'm sure that's why many people have a trust issue with T-Joe and Scott, they don't know everything they know and that makes them believe they are not doing their jobs well.

I understand that there is a credibility issue where I am concerned. It doesn't bother me that people don't want to believe what I say. I know what I've been told and I know what I believe. Just because I'm all "sunshine and roses" on this board, doesn't mean I don't tell them when I disagree with them. I would hope that sometime in the near future, many Ragin' Pagin members would take the time to establish a relationship with T-Joe and Scott. I believe many will come to discover that they are men of integrity and character and they are handling the difficulties of this current Division 1 athletic environment as well as humanly possible, with very, very few exceptions.
Sorry Isicth, but I call Bull $H!+ on this post. You may think you know, and you may actually have the "priviledge" of talking to T-Joe and Scott Farmer on an hourly basis as far as I know. But I guarantee you I know more of the money people than you do, and they don't know jack crap about about a lot of the stuff you are talking about. And if they did, they'd sure as hell tell me, becasue they want my little bit of scratch right in the game with their's. It's like the rumor that no one can seem to keep from spreading. Only you seem to be the only who knows a LOT of these rumors, and no one who I know with any credibility is coming up and stating anything that you are with any kind of certainty or in some cases even uncertainty at all. And that includes the administration. So, you know what brother. I'm gonna go out on a limb with the rest of the board, and say you are full of $ch!T man !!!

You sure you ain't Texas Mike on the radio?

It is seriously unfortunate that the Supreme Court incorrectly interpreted the Constitution to imply "separation of Church and State"... when the intent was to defend Church from interference from State... and doesn't truly address the defense of State from Church.

You cannot clearly read the inclusion of "God" in so much of our founding documents, so many intentional inclusions of prayer and God in every single important decision, both publicly and privately set forth by every single leader in our country's history... and somehow interpret that we are supposed to remove "God and prayer" from all public places.

I depend on men with any element of faith in their spirit to defend what not only founded this country... but guided it through it's darkest hours... God and prayer. We are teaching people that we are the ones that must hide in our own little private dwellings to worship God and pray. That is not at all was ever intended. It is teaching the wrong message. And yes... this is a Christian country. Period. Christians welcome other religious practices. But this is a Christian country. We are not only allowing frenge people to purge Christianity from the mainstream of our nation... they will even use other religions that they also do not respect... to beat Christianity back.

We should fight to keep Christianity in everything. And be good Christians in helping others to find a way, even if they aren't Christian, to enjoy a life in a Christian nation. The people that are so adamant about eliminating "religion" in public places - and they are mainly eliminating Christianity - are so ignorant that 98% of all the things that they enjoy in this country were created by Christians. They don't realize that just because they don't like the color of the paint on the bottom floor of the ship... cutting the entire ship bottom out to get rid of the paint... isn't going to make a nice new rainbow colored ship where everyone is equal... it will drown all of us, equally, and put that ship on the bottom of the ocean floor.
Excellent post J1M. The only amendment I would recommend is you used cannot wher I believe you meant can. Please tell me you had on boxers when you wrote this post.

The thong is a perfectly acceptable attire. After all, my ancestor Adam used to wear a fig leaf. I tried going the fig leaf route... but they don't have any in size "Anaconda".

This is not a religious university. Anyone who wants to talk to invisible friends can do it, but that is not why I come to a football game.
