  1. #1

    Default Contact ESPN, Inc.

Got a complaint use this link Contact ESPN, Inc.

    http://espn.go.com/espn/contact?lang...nited%20states

Someone on another thread saw that ESPN used the Lafayette Leopard logo on the digitally used down and distance...so, here's a way to communicate with our friends in Bristol.

Page also includes a phone number
email is directed to the correct espn department.

Nothing changes as long as the cajun nation is silent.

Talking points from Sat. NO Bowl Broadcast

    Continued use of "Louisiana-Lafayette"
    UL Laf was used
Lafayette Leopard Logo used on the digital down and distance marker
Embarrassment caused to paralyzed Tulane Player
    Mike Patrick's Tie

    You get the idea.

Let's send a ____load of e-mails to them, this is ridiculous and embarrasing

Complain about the Devon Walker embarrassment, sure, but please stop sending them emails about 'Lafayette.' Leave that up to our SID.

Am I the only one who thinks sending them pointed emails (as fans) is doing more harm than good?

No, Rebel aka Neville Chamberlin, is right there with you.

Obviously our SID or someone in our admin is not doing his job properly in ensuring ESPN corrects this since it happens repeatedly. In addition to contacting ESPN T-Joe and Karl Benson should be copied since they should give a damn about how our University and a conference representative is continually misidentified.

Yes, I've seen Rebel voice his opinion on the issue before. Some on this board are quick to vilify others for holding a different opinion.

It is embarrassing for a Lafayette Leopard logo to show up during our broadcasts, but it happened for last year's bowl also. Maybe you should all send in hand-written letters also.

I am tired of waiting on our SID or administration, if they were active on this it would not continue to happen, obviously they are not

Are you kidding me, if there is something that you do not like on the broadcast, such as being called something you do not want to be called, then absolutely send them a message. Being quiet has never worked, and never will. Get that straight right now.

It is definitely frustrating, and I have no clue on whether or not they are active or slow to press the issue. I was all on board sending emails a long time ago, but it hasn't worked. So maybe one could describe me as a defeatist, but I'm just imagining a social media intern sitting in a cube at headquarters having laughs with his intern buddies, all while replying to all of the emails with a PR template.

No name issue, but to over and over use Lafayette college logo is different. They need to be made aware that this is occurring over & over. A side note added that if they used Louisiana as our administration asked perhaps the Lafayette issue would self correct.

But it has worked. We've made progress because we have contacted people. You think Phil Steele just changed the way he references UL out of the blue? Same with other outlets. ESPN just seems to be a stubborn holdout.

I think you are in the very few. How can it be harmful when they are already doing what you don't want them to do? This does not make sense. Be quiet, and they will not mess with you. Bull-______
