Maybe I missed it, and I didn't listen to pre-game if it was covered, but was anything said about it being Nixon over Haack?? I was glad that it WAS, as I thought he did a fine job. Just wondering why Haack lost favor...

Rewatched the game last night. When Nixon was in, it was run plays to give Broadway a rest. Then when Broadway went down with cramps, Nixon was already in the flow of the game so I'm guessing they stuck with him instead of a cold Haack off the sideline.

Haack has not lost favor....We needed the "running quarterback" to take up some slack for Terrance since he was going to play...if Terrance was not going to play you would have seen Haack play along with Nixon
