The facts are indisputable regardless of where they are stated.

Check out this nugget from the Lean Wave board(YOGWF.com). I don't remember what yo yo posted it....

"And FWIW all of the LSU fans in my section (there were three groups) thought ULL looked totally outmatched athletically, and my understanding is that the ESPN announcers intimated the same. That speaks well of our recruiting (compared to other in state schools). It also points to where our weaknesses are---mental errors, mental preparedness."

Boy that is a great source right there........getting funnier by the day..........

We weren't outmatched where it counted...the scoreboard.

This is a little ofd topic, but i was sure surprised to see simeon thomas soooo much in the game. He rarely played during the season, except garbage time.

Did he just have a better week off practice than any corner, or is he just a far superior man coverage corner.
I must say he played pretty darn well, even though tulane tended to pick on him alot. I was just curious about how we went from barely playing to starting haha

He didn't start. Tulane made burnt toast out of Trev Patt twice early on; Thomas replaced him.

Jay had a good point on his show today. Cajuns did very well in the kicking game throughout. We did well punting (including coverage), kicking off, place kicking, and Surgent had a good punt return. That was a factor in the game. Still biggest factor was the CajunNation taking over the building of the opponents home field and making enough noise to influence the outcome. If Tulane fans do not think that is a factor to recruits, they are living in LA LA land. Remember what BasinBear said, we have not lost one guy we really wanted to Tulane since Hud has been here. Now they have talented players or they would not be rated so well defensively which means we went after different guys. I don't think they understand how much of an impact their LSU transfer DT meant to them. It will be interesting to see if they are as good defensively without him. We may have a similar issue when we have to replace Hamilton and Ringo in a year.

Bruh... go watch the 1st quarter on ESPN3 and tell me how "outmatched" they thought we were. After the first drive for either team, those cats thought the game was over.
