Oh I know, I was just addressing the complaint about the broadcast becoming pro tulane. That was the reason. They spanked us from the 2nd quarter on. No denying that.

Except the game isn't decided quarter to quarter. The final score is all that matters.

Damn, I thought I was the most pessimistic person on this board!!!!

I watch it in Spanish I have no idea what you guys are talking about.

I'm just glad it's a :60 minute game, though I wouldn't have argued with a :15 minute game last night.

Ok soooooo, I probably should not post on RP after a long day of drinking, sorry if I offended anyone, I was just a little frustrated a few plays when I thought we should have been louder than we were. Happy about the win, Geaux Cajuns

There was a little lull, relatively speaking, for a short stretch when CDS and the specter of The Fossil appeared to be rearing its ugly head but the fans soon got back into it. Everyone was especially loud on that last toolame drive though. It was deafening in there.

Just watched ch.6 report. Mostly Tulane perspective and no report on how we dominated crowd. Granted Tulane outplayed us much of night but as HUD says we found a way

While not tickled about everything about the game, overall it's hard for me to complain too much. Our QB had surgery on his throwing arm like three weeks ago, so our passing game should have not been good. Tulane has a highly ranked run defense so that logically would negatively impact our run game. Our PC had never attempted a FG in his college career which should have been a disaster for our special teams. Our defense, well we've all discussed the pourous nature of our defense yet they only gave up 21 points and we turned the ball over several times putting them in a jam, and they didn't break.

All phases of our game were facing serious adversity yet we won anyway. While disappointed it wasn't 50-0, which it seemed like it might be after one quarter, it's a win and a ring for the boys! We punched them in the face for a quarter, they punched us in the face for the next two quarters and our team did what it needed to in the fourth quarter, then all the Cajun fans got to enjoy the other Quarter!!

We also have to remember that, according to the "experts", we were not supposed to win this game. We all knew Tulane was not the same team as last year and knew it would be tough. We dominated when we could and made some great defensive plays to help hold them off. They did not whip us in the second half. IF they had won the game you could use that word, but score shows we were the better team tonight AND pulled in upset. How big can a win be?!

Who was the toolame player who tried to get a shot on our QB on the last play victory formation kneel-down? Huval started to go after him and Schofield had to pull the toolame thug back.
