No. The Tulane RB that scored 3 touchdowns (deservedly) got MVP. Otherwise, I would give it to Cadona. More than anyone else, nobody's talking about Cadona's contribution, pinning Tulane inside the 5 twice near the end of the game.

That's the thing i thought we'd miss most from Brett Baer - pinning those guys inside the 5. Everybody remembers 'the kick," the "roly poly" onside kick, and all that. But most forget that Brett pinned FIU inside the five 5 times when we couldn't get anything done, keeping that magical run alive.

Glad to see Cadona do that.

And when did freaking Stover start being able to outkick Lou Groza? (Or whatever).

Stover body language, said I ain't scared of this little field goal, and then went out and hit it.

Santos like Brett Baer had a chance to salvage his team, but failed. So much for Mrs. Groza award winner

Do what coach Hud said and go get lit. You'll feel a lot better.

If you can't enjoy a championship, why do you invest your emotions and your finances into this? What's the payoff?

These seniors won 4 championships in 3 years, y'all. Let's check ourselves.

Could be worse. You could be Tulane. Watching 50,000 people you hate rattle your building so bad that the best field goal kicker in the nation couldn't connect. TWICE.

While a LINEBACKER clinched a championship with his first ever college field goal try.

    A little perspective?
And thier band got blown out by the POA

And CUSA was there and said "whaaaaat?"

And AAC has been feeling uneasy about thier new "market" since Friday afternoon.

On the bright side, we can now comfortably claim the New Orleans Market for that epic new Sun Belt TV deal that's coming!

Love the whiney-assed excuses WaveProf and FW are giving for their fans not being in the Quarter or their poor showing at their "parade" or the free concert at a Champions Square dissing Travis Tritt though their earlier post were playing up the festivities. Oh yea, and Pete Rachle's prediction of noise level and mass exodus of fans was off the mark. There was a mass exodus of fans but they were all weenies after the miss.

Hunter Stover did a good job tonight.

Justin Hamilton is, and will forever be, a BEAST.

    Back-to-back-to-back New Orleans Bowl Champions!!!!!
I was thinking we got several positives out of this game; 1) Broadway is back and should be even stronger next year, 2) We know who our backup is now (NIXON) he is solid under pressure, is a very good runner, doesn't fumble or throw ridiculous passes, let him work all year with the second team so he will be ready after next season, 3) Hunter is our field goal kicker until he graduates, Are you kidding me - he should have been our field goal kicker after Baer left. We still need another one to groom after Stover leaves. Congratulations to the red team. My son called me after the game and asked is the ESPN announcer in the tank for Tulane. My response was; it happens all the time. Sometimes I think we are just not sexy enough for ESPN. Winning solves a lot of our challenges way to Geaux Cajuns!

    PS

My son said to me this game was kind of weird, Tulane was throwing up duck passes on fourth down and their receivers were catching them, their quarterbacks should have been sacked a million times and would get away, they did hustle on defense you have to give them that but if they would not have connected over and over on those fourth down ducks we might have beat them worse - Our fans deserve credit for being the 12th man tonight!!!
