Just because a game is close doesn't make it a good game. The coaches let the players and fans down. We won because we played a terrible team that eventually made enough mistakes for us to win.

I know we're "champions". Stating the obvious. But this last month has exposed our staff as mediocre. And that's disappointing.

Educated fans will agree, and it should be discussed.
    You whine way too much

One of the strangest seasons ever, thankfully capped off with a conference and bowl championship. We've got room for improvement, hats off to the coaches and players for holding it together and salvaging a successful season. Can't wait for next year!

It's called the 24 hour rule. Enjoy it for a day or two. We just won a 3rd damned consecutive New Orleans Bowl championship. NO Cajun fan will talk about that game and not acknowledge that we had SEVERAL problems. If they don't they have issues. But that's for another day. If you can't enjoy a win - ugly though it may be - in a postseason game, then what's the point?

I'll enjoy it in the offseason, but right now going to complain and worry about the future of our football team, as I should.

    But I digress.

    Geaux Cajuns.

3-Peat and SBC co-champs feels a lot better than 10 years ago.

That's how you win football games by getting the other team to make more mistakes than you make. How did the coach's let the players down? Let the fans down? If anything, UL may have played a few series a bit on the conservative side, but what I saw was an offense that took what the Defense was giving them and a Defense that held up their end by not letting Tulane run up and down the field. A few off the wall play calls, and some execution problems on offense, but overall they got the job done, and that's what its all about. No one cares how, just how many....In reference to coaches letting players and fans down, take a look at what happened with Colorado State winning a game when Washington State had an 18 point lead with less than 3 to go. You have no room to _____.

I don't want to dampen the mood any further. I'm happy we ended the year with a win. Let's discuss the actual game this week.

Have a safe and wild night Nation.

It's a lot more than a football game pal. And considering that someone has to explain the magnitude of the situation to you, I can see you're not my audience.
    :-0 alright coach.

This is a win for the team and the fans of UL
    I agree.

The fans showed up and helped win this game.

    Well you have 6 months.

    6 minutes after a 3-peat is early.
