Hudspeth and Louusiana wins bowls. I must agree that it shouldn't have been this close. But we were in thier stadium or were we? Unless they changed their colors to red?
Replay is 8 a.m. tomorrow on ESPNU. Make that this morning.
We limped into that one, but a win is a win. And for a mid-major trying to move up, three straight New Orleans Bowl championships is a nice niche where we show the nation how great a fan following we bring to the dome.
santos kicking a pressure filled kick in a stadium that was actually loud is why he missed that kick. If that was a regular season game with 500 people in the stadium like usual they win that game. Santos NFL stock just dropped a little bit.
This is a win for the team and the fans of UL
We just won a championship, guys. Don't drain the fun out of it for yourselves.
Seriously.... these guys are champions.
Enjoy it. Let's not act like children.
Here comes the "lipstick on a pig" crowd. I'll be called an LSU fan in the next few posts.
Just because a game is close doesn't make it a good game. The coaches let the players and fans down. We won because we played a terrible team that eventually made enough mistakes for us to win.
I know we're "champions". Stating the obvious. But this last month has exposed our staff as mediocre. And that's disappointing.
Educated fans will agree, and it should be discussed.
Now as far as the Cajun Nation is concerned, another stellar showing. Hats off to our great fan base.
let's look at the positives for a second:
We broke another record for attendance (well, us and the 500 fans Tulane brought)
I've got a good feeling about Jalen Nixon. Kid's gonna be SOLID. I hope he has a good offseason.
Hunter Stover did a good job tonight.
Justin Hamilton is, and will forever be, a BEAST.
Back-to-back-to-back New Orleans Bowl Champions!!!!!
