You might be right about the kid that decommitted from TAMU at the last minute, frankly I only recall the headline, don't spend time worrying about the Lamers. I do however recall it was late, very late in the recruiting season, and he was a TAMU commitment. So yes we would have wanted that guy, but we did not recruit him, and the Lamers got in on him very, very late. How is that losing a kid we wanted, and recruited to the Lamers. Only in your brain, only in your brain could this be a lost recruiting battle.

Yes in all seriousness, relative to their usual game day attendance, they had a good showing though considering it was their home stadium it should have been much greater. When we let them back in the game with the turnovers they did get spirited and you could see the players get jacked. It was probably the first time all year and likely in many of those players time at toolame to experience a "crowd" making noise in support of them. But they were drowned out by UL fans.

They (Tulane) had to be pumped to see such a large crowd on their side ... they also provided the extra 6k of the record breaking bowl attendance.

It's got to smack for Tulane. They have their best crowd of the year, but are still out drawn 4 to 1 by a team that they look down upon. It sucks to be them.
