NEW ORLEANS — Even as head coach Mark Hudspeth continues to downplay the likelihood, UL starting quarterback Terrance Broadway – less than three weeks removed from surgery for a broken bone in the forearm of his throwing arm – still hasn’t ruled out the possibility he’ll play in Saturday night’s New Orleans Bowl game against Tulane.

Just as Hudspeth seemed to be closing the door, in fact, Broadway was pushing to keep it ajar – even though it may seem like he’s fighting a decidedly uphill battle.
