I came dang close to going to usl after i graduated but came up here for the petroleum engr and my dads family was up here as well. i think you know what happened to the petroleum industry in or around 1981 huh. needless to say i didnt stay in that course of study. might had something to do with Calculus 231 also but thats another story
I've always said if there was another place I'd live in Louisiana it would be Lafayette and that still stands. Sure would hate to leave these mountains up there though.
anyway, 3 hours till game time and i'm getting excited

I guess you started out this thread "go to hell... " - now that's the way a dawg should bark. I'm calling for the Cajuns to puppify the dawgs today. Bring all your mutt friends with you and fill up the kennel. Tonight... euthanasia at 6pm at the dawgy pound.
Come on back little doggy. Come get your whoopin after your boys just took that whoopin
GEAUX CAJUNS!
Here doggy, here doggy.
Gotta love some of these lame (rear end) LaTexture name gamers.

How does it really effect them? I could maybe see ULM being ____ed about it. Maybe ChouDog can answer this one.
Although there is a "rivalry" between the two schools, you would think they would want to support us in this one being as it goes back to an effort to stand up to the "regime".
I don't think many, if any, other Louisiana universities subscribe to the notion that us being called UL is good for the state. ULM doesn't want us to be UL for obvious reasons. And Tech doesn't want us to be UL because it would diminish their standing (perception wise). It would send the message that the state ranks it's public universities 1.) LSU 2.) UL 3.) The rest. That's not good for business for Tech or ULM or even LSU. So I think we can understand why they dont want us to be UL.
In other words, my point is that Tech does have a "dawg" in this fight to some degree.
Anyways, I'm glad the cajuns got back on track last night. Makes me feel much better. Hopefully we bring the broom to FAU this weekend!
