_ For the first time I began seeing guys walk back to the dugout instead of running.

We need to make sure we make our own conference tourney. I don't see our RPI getting high enough to get an at-large bid unless we win the regular season championship but at 0-3 we are behind the 8 ball already.

I still believe we will get on a role at some point because we have good pitching and the bats suck right now but in baseball the averages tend to work themselves out over a season.

I must say the fans are doing their part. With the sorry record and horrible play their were still 1501 in attendence and was a nice college atmosphere for baseball. When the team starts to play better and starts winning again it will get fun again.

I think you are correct in that the only way we make post season this year is to win the conference tournament. I guess if we go on a run and end up with quality wins over Nebraska, Rice, LSU in addition to turning it around and winning the conference regular season we could get an at large bid, but from what I have seen so far, a turn around like this is very unlikely.

We did have really nice crowds this weekend. I'll be there no matter what, but it sure is depressing to watch this kind of baseball.
