I think he will play...and as said above...will be subbed for every 2 or 3 series by one of the others.

He's still got 3 full days to heal. If he's already functional with limited throwing motion, without great pain, I know we'll see him on the field. I also wouldn't be the least bit surprised if one of our backups comes out looking massively sharper in the bowl. They are going to feel like they're at home with a super crowd behind them. I expect whatever "fire" was missing in the last few weeks, will show up big time in this game. I believe we're going to do special things on special teams. I've been feeling something special by Surgent. And I think it happens more than once on Saturday.
We play better in the NO Bowl. Our team and fans get up for it. We're going to win this game!
Melrock,
After seeing that photo, I broke out a beer, some Beau Jacque, Hebert's boudin & chops and celebrated. My Texas neighbors were licking their lips...lol!
Might have smoked a cigarette, after that moment of happiness!
I talked to my all-district quarterback friend about the Broadway in the picture, who also broke his arm (had a full cast) and he said it effects the velocity, not accuracy for throwing.
