Something tells me he'll be ready.
Don't think so. Non throwing yes.
Hud's confident he'll be 100% next week. May be coach speak, but encouraging nonetheless.
We play at 8pm Saturday night. If we can get this game into overtime... I think we may roll over into Sunday morning. And then, Broadway will be 100%! But, statistically... if he's at 90% at game time... and anticipated to be at 100% at midnight... I expect him to steadily improve as the game goes on.
He's not missing this game and he's not gonna play unless he can throw with velocity and accuracy. His legs mean the world to this offense. I think he'll be a game time decision and Cajun fans will be quite excited to see TB lead the team out of the tunnel w/pads on.
I remember an episode of Coach...where they were playing a big time game and their quarterback was supposedly hurt. The whole episode was about how he wouldn't play and the quarterback was wheeled into the tunnel in a wheelchair...only to get up at the bottom of the tunnel and take his coat off only to reveal he was suited up and ready to go. If Hud pulls this off it would be epic. Also...is Jerry Van Dyke still alive and can he coach the defense?
Between Nixon and McGuire we could have so many wrinkles between running and throwing it's pretty crazy to think about.
