My guestimate before hearing the numbers was about 55,000 people with UL having around 43-44K and them having 11-12k.

The shame was that there was over 57,000 tickets sold and distributed. Thinking about it, I guess a 3,000 no-show wasn't bad considering the market as I'd be willing to bet the majority of them were related to the Tulane allotment or $10 donated tickets from a TU alumnus. I was sitting next to a Tulane fan at the concert on Friday and I heard them saying that her son had purchased five of the $10 tickets and were trying to give them to someone who could use them.

Oh, that was dancing??? Anyway, I don't enjoy watching bands try to dance, and 610 was embarrassing, and Pride of Acadiana was nothing but AWESOME....LOUD AND AWESOME....Loved the CAJUNS and FDL they formed. Yeah, we won the football game AND the battle of bands. It was a great weekend!!!!!!!

Don't get the 610 Stompers. If the 610 Stompers is what gives your band it's identity....meh.

That said, the 610 Stompers might be one of the few ways Tulane can reconnect with the city.

The 610 Stompers had nothing to do with Tulane but were just invited to perform with them. They originated with the Saints, not Tulane.

And the truth ---these guys were an obvious cover up to the pathetic h s looking Tulane band---get more people on the field to disguise the joke that was performing!!! If we make one more leap in our numbers and performance level we will be with the big guys I think!!!

Toolame fans are the gift that keeps on giving. Now their latest thread is all of them commenting that UL fans were subdued after the win and on the walk back. One fool even comments that he left early with three minutes kept in the game and a woman in red on the bus across from them only reacted upon hearing the final with "Roll Tide". I doubt any Cajun fans left with three minutes to go. He is too stupid to tell the difference between a UL fan and an Alabama fan.
