After reading some of the Tulane posters on their boards.....they still refer to us as USL (the ho-hum opponent)......
My dipolma says USL (last year of the that name), but that has been 14-15 years ago. Even the people in LA do not know what to call us...LOL

It does irk me though that we can bring 40k to a bowl game two hours away but can't get 30K for a home game...but if we build it, they will come...(and I don't mean just a newer stadium)...and it shows we have plenty of potential for growth

My favorite part of that thread is the "they (UL) think this is a big deal. They're delusional."

I think both fan bases feel the same about the situation. We would both rather be playing someone else (bigger named schools) and that's fine...The poblem is, unless we went 12-0 this year, we are in the NOLA bowl. Tulane actually has a chance to play in other bowls against bigger name schools and it's noone's fault but theirs for not being in those bowls...they blew it... WIN MORE GAMES TULANE!!! Tulane fans should enjoy it while they can because it's not going to be as easy next year when they move to AAC.
