They are hoping for some walk-up fans to show up, possibly wearing a green t-shirts! Hey, we may have won over a few of them the last two years. Both of our games were fantastic to watch and were wins over teams we were suppose to lose to.

60,000+....they will bring around 20 to 25,000......and be embarrassed as to how many more we have on their home field.......and don't think for a minute that ESPN play by play man Mike Patrick wont mention that.

Coach, you really think toolame will bring 20k+? Considering their attendance all year I just don't see it. I expect a boost since some who haven't gone all year will show up. I think typical examples such as my niece (UL grad) and her husband (toolame grad who never goes to games) and her father (former toolame player who hasn't been in years) are going in large part at our urging to come party with us.

I think like our fans who only show up to the bowl game, you can expect the same for Tulane (at a smaller level of course)...I went to every Tulane home game during their undefeated season and I went to the Liberty Bowl that year and they had more fans in Memphis than they did all year in the dome. Now, they say they avg. around 19,000 for home games but we all know that is very very far fetched so we will see. But trust me, even Tulane has bandwagoners.

No. Both OU and the Tide will bring it. The NO Bowl WILL be among the top 10 in attendance, though.

I think Tulane's actual attendance at the bowl will be about 80% of their average announced attendance in the regular season. I fully expect the 'Other' crowd to be at least 60% for the Cajuns, if only slightly.
