Our O Line can't seem to hold blocks long enough for our QB to sit in the pocket and that was a major concern with Broadway and now with our freshmen QBs. If we throw quick routes and maintain success with that with an occassional long pass, we should be able to pound the ball running. If we sit in the pocket, give up sacks or throw under pressure, bad things will happen as they have the past 2 games. Then, we become one dimensional and lose the effectiveness of our running game. Need to come up with a better defensive scheme than we have seen in the last 5 games or we will again be shredded by their passing game. Montana may not be his father, but without any pressure on the QB which we haven't provided by a 3 man rush and little to no blitzing, 10 yard cushions by our CBs, and an open middle of the field almost every play is a disaster for our defense. We had 2 weeks to prepare for Tulane. But, we had 2 weeks to prepare for ULM and look what happened. Broadway had his worse game. If he does play, we need a better perfomance from him. But, he won't have practiced for 2 weeks. And, we need a turnover free game, another area that has been problematic for us. What did we have in the past 2 games, 4-5 turnovers that cost us both games?
