Notre Dame is a Catholic school. Tulane is a private, secular university. Some Jewish people happen to go there. Big difference.
So yes, when people start throwing around '-Tulane-' it can only mean one thing. "Hahah look! Jews go there." Which begs the question, who cares? Why do you think that is funny?
