Its a privilege not a right
Notre Dame is a Catholic school. Tulane is a private, secular university. Some Jewish people happen to go there. Big difference.

So yes, when people start throwing around '-Tulane-' it can only mean one thing. "Hahah look! Jews go there." Which begs the question, who cares? Why do you think that is funny?

*Looks like "jew-lane" now auto-corrects to -Tulane-. I guess I'm not the only person who doesn't get the "joke."

Guess what? There are Jewish students at Tulane. There are also Jewish alumni from Tulane. I'm one of them. And plenty of us are going to be at the Superdome on Saturday. Actual Jewish people, in the flesh. You'll see us-- and might even have to interact with us! God forbid! I'm sure you'll manage, somehow. I know it must be painful.
You have no problem characterizing our fanbase as "backwards hicks" but get your panties in a wad at our characterization of you. What whiney _____. Glad I was able to get under your skin.

It's funny because it gets under your skin. Respect is a two way street. There has been none shown towards UL by your fanbase so don't expect any from ours. You guys choose epithets to insult UL, we'll choose ours to insult you. And Jeeeeewlane seems to do the trick.

Can you explain how 'Jeeeeewlane' is funny, or an insult? I must be missing something here. Please, go on.

Hey greenie....two things...thanks for approving my registration on the Ye Ole Green wave board...wait.....I haven't got the email confirmation yet. Also check out below...it's the admissions blurb from Notre Damme....looks like they don't discriminate...just like us...we ____ with everyone here....get over it and stop crying like a damn NE liberal every time someone isn't PC, which is the most asinine concept that has ever taken root in the US and it will be the down fall of the US someday.

Freaking pansies. Also check your some of the bowl pictures on other threads...Don't think in any way the attendance will be because Tulane brought the wood...if anyone...expect Anderson and company to bring your boys to the back of OUR woodshed for a good beating!!

Do you really think your PC labels bother me? Call me a bigot, -phobe, whatever. I don't give a ____. Your opinion doesn't mean ____ to me. You want to lecture someone on civility and respect? Start over on your own message boards.

Politics has nothing to do with it. It is a free country. You can say or think what you want. Just don't be surprised when others judge you, and your school, on those opinions. If I were a Louisiana - Lafayette administrator, I'd be ashamed of this board and your opinions. It reflects poorly on the entire university that such views are tolerated. They're ugly, bigoted, and distasteful, and have no place in an institution of higher learning.

Please. Go on. Keep digging yourself a deeper hole.
