Default Cajuns still in rankings at #25

Baseball America moved us to #25 and Tulane #18. We need this win.

Not that I know of. Or at least not yet. I think Baseball America, Rivals, and Collegiate Baseball are the only polls out right now. The ESPN/Coaches poll hasn't been released yet.

I'm kind of surprised at myself for not being "amped" about the rankings. I'm more worried about how we are going to hit the baseball. I have no doubt that the hitting will come around, we have good coaching. And I know the pitching will be solid. But it is nice to get some national recognition with the ranking. Just focused more on proving that we deserve it.

UTSA got pummeled by Texas Tech yesterday, something like 14-4.

I was fortunate enough to get some seats at the Tulane affair. I plan on going home a happy a ssed fan.

Looking forward to revenge over some of the Green Wave boys who took me down after last years game.

Watch where you park. OUCH, the weenies have no friends in NO DPW.

This is in response to your email concerning parking on the median for
    the Tulane baseball game.

In July 2007, DPW announced a citywide crack down on this activity
because it has been against the law for many years and because of the
damage it causes to the city's medians. Since then, I have personally
given many interviews stating the fact that parking on the median is
illegal everywhere, at all times, and that any past permissions given
(or perceived to have been given) were not valid. I specifically stated
that no exception would be given for events.

Tulane contacted the City in October 2007, through Shelley Midura's
office, to ask permission to allow parking on the median, and we said at
that time that they would not be granted permission. In addition, we
advised Tulane that if their fans were accustomed to violating the law
that they needed to take proactive steps to alert their fans and
supporters. At approximately 5:30 PM, the Parking Division was alerted
that hundreds of vehicles were parked illegally on the median and
responded accordingly. Had we been notified earlier, we would have
    responded earlier.

It was not our intention to spoil everyone's evening, but DPW does not
apologize for enforcing the law either. Citizens that come to New
Orleans for fun should be expected to be good law abiding citizens and
    anything less is unacceptable.

Destin I am fully aware that in New Orleans you park at your own risk. I have always known that a person needs to park in a legal zone. On the other hand there are only so many spots along the bus routes.
